I need to find a place in NYC that cuts scene guy hair well, I have yet to find a place that cuts hair the way I really want it (I usually bring in a picture), so you people who live in NYC, tell me where to go for a good scene guy haircut :)

I thought the point was just doing something random and piff it up with hairproducts, how it's cut has little to do with that if you are creative. Never heard of a scene haircut though, idk.

To be honest, I want a good haircut, my hair rig now is not layered really and I haven't gotten it cut in awhile and I need a goodplace to go to that won't fuck up my hair by simply asking for a layering, you know? If you could give any tips on how to find the hairstyle that is me, I'd really appreciate it

Well I don't live in NYC but what I do is I razor my own hair, and most of the time I do better than the stylist... hell yesterday my dad brought me to the stylist because it was slightly uneven, and made me get a trim, and it fucked it all up... just break an old razor open, seperate your hair into the layers you want and go from there... it's not that hard and its REALLY REALLY hard to mess up
