My mum says i can't dye my hair or anything the only arguments she has is "'casue you're a boy" WTH, why should that matter, people are allowed to look how they want, she doesn't wanna listen. It's bullshit, well imma dye my hair and do whatever i want anyways xD anyone here who's got some similar problems?

yeah..my mom wont let me dye my hair any other colour than blond and her only argument is that id look stupid..thats her opinion not mine..and the only reason why my mom lets me dye my hair blond is cuz thats my natural hair colour but its getting darker but its a really blah colour..but im moving with my sister in a month and i know she will let me dye my hair cuz she dyed her hair neon blue before

Same here, my mom want let me do anything fun. the only way im aloud to put streaks in my hair. is do the whole lemon juice and go out in the sun thing. anyway, im not aloud to pierce anything until im in college. wtf

There are soooooooooooo much tight parents of people on this forum!! (No offence, though). To be honest I think I do look kinda stupid, but I'm glad my mum lets me look however teh fork I want. "Cause you're a boy" lol Just keep asking "and?" or "why?" Til she has a breakdown. =P

OHHHHMAIIIIGAWDDDD I understand exactly what you mean! Except my mom's excuse is "Your hair is pretty as it is. It is an odd thing to have natural black hair with dark brown tips and red lowlights. You'll ruin your beautiful hair." I just want to get it darkened to all black and have peekaboo purple bangs. So I'm like IT WILL GROW BACK EVENTUALLY. >:( OH! ANDDDDDD she decides to tell me I can't do anything (piercings, dye my hair, etc) until I: a) turn 18 b) can pay for it myself -and even then she said she'd have to think about it c) On my own, living by myself -Which I don't PLAN on moving out until I finish college. And the big kicker: I can't get a job until the summer of next year, which means I'll be 17, so I may as well just wait. I'm sorry if I sound illiterate when I am outraged.

yaa, i live with my gramma and every time i do something to my hair she tripps, i got grounded for dieing my hair red, and i cut it my self awhile back and she flipped over that to but its my hair so i just do it and get in troble any way, and ima bout to die it again lol

Ahaa yeah... when I was like 13 or something I wanted to die my hair black once and my mum wasn't gonna have it. So I got pissed off with her for about a week and then we made a compromise and I got it dyed dark brown AND she paid for it. So... compromise. ;)

My mom says I can die mine blonde, that's it... she's afraid that if I die it darker than what it is know that I'll turn into a gothic rebel kid that smokes weed and gets knocked up xD

My mum is like this but whats the worst thing she can do like ground you for a week so what ! youll still have cool hair ! I stretched my ear and got piercings she hated them and in the end i was like my body i paid for them ike it or lump it blew over in a few days she still lectures me sometimes and doesnt like it but i still allowed them in ^^
