Snakebites/School Help Aug 08 2011, 07:33 AM
I had snakebites before but I took them out because of family. I've convinced them to let me have them without them constantly moaning at me. Anyway I'm worried if I get them people at school will try and pick on me for having them. There's only a few other people at my school that I know wouldn't. What should I do? I really want them but the thought of getting called stuff and picked on. Is it really worth it?

If having them will make you feel better about yourself, and it's really something that you want, then I think you should definitely get them. Snakebites are hot. If people pick on you because of them, they're just jealous. Be proud of your haters...

Never mind being bullied for them, I'd be more worried about what the teachers say :/ But if your school's more lax on those kind of rules... then I'd say go for it :D

Thanks for all the help(: x I think I'm going to go ahead and get them :D Yeah my school doesn't really mind what you have on our body tattoos/piercings. Just as long as you wear the uniform your fine.

You're lucky o.O my school was veeeery strict on appearance, the only piercings that were allowed were 1 set of earrings with either small studs or hoops in.

^My school is WAY strict too. Only the girls can wear earrings, and they can't be anything big or flashy. Besides that, no piercings whatsoever or you have to take them out or get detention and stay 2 hours after school xD

Ours is like that, except if you have any piercings you're not supposed to have (or a hair colour that isn't natural-looking), you're sent home and aren't allowed back until it's "sorted" (i.e. you've taken the piercing out/re-dyed your hair. Or if you're my mate Jaz and cover up your nose piercing with a tiny piece of plaster :L)

You should wear them if they make you happy. Like everyone else is saying if your school is that ok with things like piercings and tattoos go for it.. When I had blue hair people made fun of me, fag, queer, smurf, loser, same thing every day...And what did I do? I came back the next day with my blue hair, and pretty much said fuck you guys. So there. =)

DizzyDotRocks-That sucks xD But lucky him, that he can cover it up. For me, when I get my tongue pierced, I'll have to wear small studs that match my the color of my tongue and hope for the best xD GenocideOfNormal-Don't take this personal, but when I saw smurf, I laughed xD But blue hair is nice. I'll try that someday :D

Hopefully a tongue piercing should be easier to cover anyway, especially if you do choose one that's near to the colour of your tongue :) Blue hair is awesome! I can't wait til I can finally dye mine ^^

Yeah my school is really chill. One of my friends has a tattoo machine so he is constantly adding extravagant graphics to his arms all the time. ^ JCGenocideofNormal ^ You really pushed me towards my hair dyeing. I really want to dye it black with a blue or blonde half fringe(: I feel bad for you guys getting detention for your Hair Colour!:O That's so harsh.

Yeah, I don't talk much in school so a tongue piercing won't be glaringly obvious unless someone's STARING into my mouth when I open it xD

Neither does mine... hell in middle school your hair couldn't stand over like 3 inches tall now they don't care and you can have your like a foot tall... but we do have a strict dress code, girls can't show any cleavage, guys can't sag, no tank tops, dresses can only be 2 inches above your knee, and yet the only time I've ever been caught for dresscode was for having a skirt too short, and it was long enough you just couldnt tell with the ruffles
