i'd lie my fucking ass off... say you got something on your shoe and was trying to scratch it off :L when i did cut i used sharpener blades >.< not so explainable

^ yes it is... you were razoring your hair (: i keep my old blade just for that, and my mom knows I cut my hair so I'd just give her that reason

I would freak, because they know I've done it, so they would know exactly what it's for :L

My brother knows I've done it, and has hinted it at my parents SEVERAL times, my step mom and my dad know that I have a lot of scars and they started to catch on, my uncle has seen my scars and told me that if I were smart I'd be going down the vein and not across, lmao

I would try to lie, but knowing my mom, she would check my wrists and know the truth just by looking at them. Then she would probably force me to talk to my school counselor or another therapist...

Not as bad as going to a hospital... but not as good when you concider the amount of help you'll recieve

In fact, I used to go to the school counselors DAILY... it helped out a lot

I hate talking to people though. I don't even talk to my best friends all that much. I'm lucky that they are talkers so that I can just listen... Anyways I would never tell someone about my problems. Even if it could help me...

Frantiq... I'm speechless, not in a bad way but that kind of blew my mind, especially the part about the cancer... the week I was born my grandpa was diagnosed with lung cancer, he was given a month to live, almost 12 years later he passed away... My dad and step mom made the same promise that you made, my dad to this day hasn't touched a cigerrette since he heard that my grandpa had passed away, he didn't gradually stopped, he stopped all at once... my step mom stopped until about two years ago when my grandma (her mom) got breast cancer, and died because of it... its also the reason that I swore I'd never smoke, thank you for reminding me of that promise I'd made, and how I need to get back with it... I know this was off topic but I felt like I really needed to say that...

If you knew my parents... you would understand why it would be better if they didn't know. And it's as difficult an addiction to stop as many others - as a smoker, you can probably understand that more than many. Not saying self harm is an ideal solution or anything, but just explaining that it's a difficult habit :/ Having said that, if anyone wants to stop, then there's always plenty of advice and support here :)

This actually happened to me x]. I lied about the first knife, that's because my step-dad found it. But when my Mum found the other one...I gabbled it all out D; Wish I hadn't now.

wait... you're back on... what happened there, I thought your mom grounded you from sites like this?
