To see you smile again I've been wondering just how long I can stay awake Before my eyes start to bleed Now I'm aching and I'm breaking inside. For you, by Joe Brooks

Hot Topic Sep 30 2011, 05:04 PM
Well I just ordered part of my Halloween costume from Hot Topic, and it came in today. But I was kinnda mad at the quality of the order. I got this black feather angel wings and a multi-colored cat ear/tail/paws set. But everything was just falling apart. The feathers were coming right off the wings right when I took it out of the package, and the fur on the paws weren't even glued on right, so they popped off too. I have to say, Hot Topics online quality has been going down hill :( Am I the only one who thinks this? (Yeah I called the and ordered a replacement for them) Sorry I dont mean to complain, but really? For the price of somethings, cant they make a little better quality of their merchandise? :(

Hot Topic is a sad, pathetic, let down of a store these days. The quality of most their products has really gone down and their prices keep going up. They sell out to every possible thing they can..Like Justin Beiber, or rap..like little wayne or something stupid like that. I rarely even shop there, even though thats like the only place that sells stuff i'd wear. Why I want to own my own store LIKE them, but obviously not such sell outs and with decent quality products without ripping your wallet out of your pocket for a shirt..

Well never really shopped at Hot Topic. XD But with quality and all, if it's turning up battered all of a sudden they might have switched delivery companies for whatever reason. Isn't always the stores fault. :P Have you thought about writing to them?

I got the items for $20 each, And I actually was thinking of emailing them, but would they even read it? Or just ignore it like most stores.

They should get back to your emails. No store wants to portray bad customer service, because it'll spread like wildfire. Please note from experience fairly cheap costumes are hit and miss. I have one good pirate costume and now one not so good quality one. They both cost almost the same..

Hot Topic is starting to worry more about the money and NOT the customer's satisfaction. It's sad. It really was a good store before. Now, hardly anyone shops there. You should definitely E-mail them about it. Hopefully they'll get the hint that something needs to change.
