Single or In A Relationship Nov 25 2011, 07:38 AM

Which do you prefer and why? I'm in a relationship, and I love it. However, I don't think being single is bad at all and I know some people who actually prefer to be single... For me it also depends on what point you're at in life. Maybe being single during certain stages in your life is the best option? Or maybe it's the time to find that person? Other questions... Are those who are single comfortable with it? Does anyone in a relationship wish they were single? What do you guys think?

^ aww i know how u feel </3 im a bit just borderline myself has massive mood swings scares away the guys so fast u.u" well i can't help it but i try to meditate and relax as often as i can and i feel instantly happier and helping people i love and care about is the best thing for me to do to keep my mood swings in shape ^.^ x

I'm yet to find something that works for me, usually i calm down after a few hours or after having a good cry- but as everyone knows, sometimes it's really not appropriate to cry, after the other half broke off our engagement a few weeks ago cos his mum don't like me I had to endure a bus journey, sitting next to him while crying and enduring everyone staring at me, it made me feel even more shit :/ (the engagement is back on now) I do meditate, but it doesn't work when i'm upset, infact it doesn't really work for relaxing for me, Idk if it happens to anyone else, but when I meditate I seem to end up having spirits talking to me or astral travel, it's something I try to avoid doing for that reason lol it's weird cos i know it's something I were born with and alot of people love being able to do that, and some people who haven't worked out how to do it yet wish they could do it, but i'm able to do it and don't like it lol.

^ yeah well im a spiritual medium too and im a practising pagan but i have also spirits with me always u.u" im used to it and they take my energy from me often so that i get really tired often >.> but listen too soothing music like soundtrack to the lord of the rings movies and to the harry potter ones( especially the instrumental ones) calms me down too ^.^ and of course my biggest passion in life drawing/painting :] x

Tough question, but I'd say in a relationship as long as you can both just go with the flow and have fun. There are obviously negatives with being in a relationship, but if you're with the 'right' person and feel happy with them and yourself the positives far outweigh the negatives. (wow long sentence!)

^^^ agreed, that is a long sentence xD it's a new record ;D jk Sooo... I'm about to cross the line between single and not single into the not single section... :D My ex and I made a mutual agreement to get back together after we both got our hearts broken and had a chance to mature and realize just what we had and how much we loved it. :)

^ yo go jojo :) Why I must say you the above post were qutie insightful as they perfectly revealed the advantages and disdadvatnages of being in a relationship, while showing that other people particularly those with BPD need someone to comfort them even though it might be hard to find an understnading partner, and Matt taught that the right person is always worth it while Jojo just showed me that sometimes being single and also going through some poor relationships make you realise who the right person really is. ( my sentence was longer) :P Fascinating! I wish you all the best in the future and I hope your love flourishes and that you who need to find someone who is caring and understanding will find a good partner especially Karin and Sev ( Laura). I send you both my heartfelt love x :) Keep the opinions coming guys! ^^
