Does anyone else have problems with confidence? I'm working on mine...I don't know. It's tough. Any suggestions?

I used to when i was younger, but now since i improved playing guitar and got into bands and performed live loads its improved so much, so that kinda thing helps, just going out and socialising with people is another good way too.

i honestly have to say that the best way to be confident is to know what you are good at and start from there. :) Like uniqueness about yourself that no one else has ...it can be anything!

It's hard to be confident when you're used to people putting you down. But just hold your head up and smile. Don't just go with the flow xD Be original.

When I say go with the flow I mean taking risks and just not worrying too much about what other people think. It's your life...

how i found my confidence was realising as long as your happy the way you are , then fuck the rest of the people who are only trying to make themselves feel better, trust me stick with what you know and ditch the things that dent your confidence! hope it goes well (:

OK guys, I see. I see. I think I know what you guys are sayin! XD I guess the whole reason why I never liked myself was because guys never liked me. But now that I've found my own style and everything, I don't know. It just seems like I can make it through it now. You guys rock! You know that right?

^agreed! and yeah who doesnt have confidence issues from time to time lol its apart of life..noone is perfect but well just being around people who really loves u helps a lot if u feel not that confident ^.^ i dont give a fuck much about what people thinks of me since i am really stubborn then i do things my way or i just ignore people that bothers me by listening to music kinda loud with my headphones on my cellphone :) x

I have some confidence problems. I'm just working on them, and one day I'm sure I will like myself. :3 And I agree with Karin. EVERYONE has them sometimes, even if it's only tiny. People who say they have none at all are just lying in my opinion. One day, it will all be better. X

I have like no confidence in myself >.< I get like random rushes of, yeah you know what fuck everyone else I can do it! Whatever it is :P But then it just goes back to screw it..your a loser, :( Especially awful cause I like this girl and i reallllllly want to talk to her but I'm just...ughh..I'm sure plenty of people here know what I mean by Ughhh :/

You want to feel apart of something that can psychologically acknowledge your way of being i "independant". Truth is characterising yourself to a stereotype doesnt make you an individual. It makes you an idiot, be who you are and stop with the depression bullshit. you're lucky to live in a 21st centuary western country where you dont die of starvation! so shut the hell up! and move on from this phase.
