Seeing as Christmas is coming, I was just wondering what some of you guys' beliefs are??? I'm just being a tad nosy, me and my boyfriend were having a similar conversation. Personally I believe in God and Jesus and stuffs, but I can't stand church. Just wondering. :3 <3

To cut a long story short I'm 75% unbeliever and 25% believer (in Jesus, Heaven, etc..)

I'm the kinda atheist that doesn't care about religion, I don't want it in my life. I don't not believe in god, I just don't want it to bother my life.

well i made my own religion its kinda like protostans but not longated we only focous on the big 3 jesus, god, and the holy spirit so im tht religion i dont have a name 4 it yet...

i dont consider myself christian im a bit odd i believe in god but i dont worship himi believe that instead of praising another entity i should focus on my self (mind body etc) i believe that the path to heaven isnt in worship and praise but instead in self enlightenment (i guess in that way i resemble a buddhist.

I'm 100% Christian. I feel that being a Christian can be a VERY positive influential force in your life if you let it be. You have a mindset that you're never alone and things will always work out for the better (Gods will) and I'm not saying that this is why I believe in God... those are just some of the benifits that come along with it. As for why I personally believe in God, there is a number of reasons. The number one reason being that it is far more likely that the universe was not only created but designed and the theory of the big bang is highly unlikely. Everything in the universe is carefully placed and allows us to live as humans, there is also many accounts of spiritual activity.. which shows that there is something beyond this world. I don't know, I'm just throwing some random thoughts out of my mind. I personally dont believe that Jesus could have gotten hundreds of people to believe he was the son of God unless, he was in fact the son of God. Another note: If everyone followed the example Jesus Christ shown us, imagine how less corrupt the world would be? I could only imagine how great a world like that would be, so it only motivates me further to be a better person and to try my best to walk in his shoes.

I am non-religous because, im not atheist but im not christain or anything else, i don't want any of that stuff in my life, in my opinion its pointless, not tryna be a b*tch or anything but yeah, I believe Jesus was real, but I highly doubt he's the sun of "God" I doubt god was to be taken as a person in the first place, just a spiritual thing, like a conchence (spelling??) that tells you something isn't right. and considering the bible was originally written in the latest form of Hebrew, who knows how much of it is actually correct being that Hebrew has changed so much over the years, by now the bible is like a non-fiction book, make believe.

i don't associate myself with any religion. however i believe in Jesus and god, and heaven, etc. religion isn't suppose 2 have a label. god will understand if u don't call yourself a christian especially after how much certain churches lie...

I used to believe in god and heaven and all that but it just made me feel worse about myself after a while... Haven't set foot inside a church in a few years...

I have my own beliefs. I believe Jesus was real, and there's a lot we can learn from him, but I don't believe he was the son of God as I don't believe God exists. I wish I could believe in God, but I just don't. I used to as a kid, but as I put it, he never believed in me. Instead, I focus on my own morals, many of which are influenced by the Bible, (treat thy neighbour as thyself, and the like), but there are many influences that are just my personal beliefs. I could get into massive debates about certain issues on here, but for instance, I believe everyone deserves to be treated equally unless there is a good case for them not to be (e.g. if they're a murderer or a paedophile). I believe you should not be discriminated against for reasons beyond your control (e.g. race, sexuality, health, both mental and physical) or any other reason that is under your control but does not affect the quality of life that someone else has (e.g. the way you dress, the music you listen to). I could go on for a while... xD

I am a very spiritual person. I believe there is good and bad in everyone, but that fundamentally the souls of most people are good and that most would help a fellow human being if they can. I think that this goodness can be channelled successfully either through religion, or people of none faith can be equally good and that love and empathy are the most important things in anyone's life regradless of whether they have a belief or not. I was a christian and attended church for many years, but I find organised religion a bit too pressurized at times. I still find churches a peaceful and spiritual place and think in my heart I hold firm to the belief of something "bigger" watching over us, and I always "pray" for those whom I think could do with a helping hand that I'm not able to give. But I also beilieve in the spiritual side of life and am a bit of a hippy at heart. So I would say I believe in a higher being (God) but I find all religions at their best can teach us all something and I would never impose my beliefs on someone else in the way some organised religion does.
