afraid to go back Jan 12 2012, 03:33 AM
Okay so this year i moved from saskatchewan to a small community in rural nova scotia. at first i thought that i would be cool to live there but once i went to school everyone seemed to be against me even the teachers.in the first three months i was called faggot 6 times all by different people. now im being homeschooled for grade 9 but im afraid to go back for grade 10.

I know how that feels- when I was in middle school I was bullied and called names during the whole three years I was there- fortunately, that pretty much stopped when we moved to high school. Have you or your parents spoken to the school about this? And if teachers are treating you unfairly or making you feel bad then I would complain about that too, as it is unacceptable for a teacher to do that.

small towns are just like big cities, but of course smaller... it's actually easier to fit in, in a big city than a small town

Agreed Nikki, the bigger the town the more likely you are to find people with similar interests etc. :)

Hun believe me I get called all kinds of names for being me I get tired of it and am afraid to go out in public to I live in a very small town where everyone knows each other. Just remember you aren't the only one and everyone on this site loves you. We're all like you. Well the majority of us are. We all get called names you just have to walk away with confidence even if you don't feel confident.

yeh I agree, cause I've been bullied all my school life and it only just stopped recently when I made it obvious I didn't care what they said to me. Besides, everyone will be older and hopefully a bit less stupid(:
