Embrace The Pain Jan 13 2012, 03:22 PM

Pull out the blade to see it shine, Did I go wrong somewhere down the line, Tried to fit in with the bigger crowd, Struck down like the storm in the cloud, Feeling the fire burn beneath my skin, Working up to my head to make it spin, Place the blade closer to the flesh, The smell of blood is very fresh, The blade glimmers from the light, It may be wrong and yet so right, The inflicting pain helps me to cope, If I didn’t do it I’d be hanging from a rope, Suicidal thoughts fill my head, Visions of my corpse lifeless and dead, Lost in the confusion of being alone, My heart solid and made of stone, My heart is just too dark to care, Tilt my head to move my hair, Now I can see clear as day, I’ve done wrong so I must pay, Take a deep breath and push hard, I will be forever physically scarred, The mental trauma has pushed me into it, Slice the skin and make a slit, Copy the process up my arm, I am thinking it’ll make me calm, The pain slowly grows as more are made, I stop now and I’m so afraid, The bleeding is uncontrollable and running fast, Sudden visions come of my past, My life fades out in a cloud of smoke, Although I’m alive I start to choke, Pass out and fall into a deep sleep, My body gone and my soul I keep.
