Emo Scene Community

emo stems from the word emotional thus we are all “emo’s” but some more than others i suppose. i have never intentionally labelled someone but i have asked individuals as to what label they would consider themselves to be a part if they had to choose on certain occasions. i don’t think there is anything wrong with labels unless you use it calculatedly to inflict pain into another persons life. however, with that said i think labels are important as it allows you to understand a person before you have initiated a conversation with them whereby you may know beforehand the type of things they like to talk about, what they may possibly be into as well as how they like to be talked to. if we didn’t have labels then we wouldn’t have individuality thus everyone would be the same uttering the identical boring conversations over and over but with labels it allows you to enter another person’s world where you share your world with them, and vice versa to bring diverse thoughts into your life. there are numerous individuals that get annoyed when they are labelled that i cannot understand why as if you know you are not that particular label then why does it matter what they think, they are not your reality. however, if you are then you should be proud of what you are! i guess what i am saying is that if we didn’t have labels then you wouldn’t have separate social networking websites such as this whereby you would be forced to seek alternative websites with a wider variety of people that may have abused you for being different as people do cause they are ignorant so kudos to labels. this is my introduction giving you a taste of how my mind may supposedly work and i do not class myself as an emo, im normal, whatever that may be. good day sir and madams.
