I thought i trusted someone, I told her everything, I told her things my family doesn't know, I told her things i didn't want anyone to know, I told her things that most people would turn away from, She knew things about me i didn't know, She could tell when i was depressed, She could make me smile, She could make me laugh, She could make me feel better, She could crush me, All in a blink of an eye, She was gone, Never for me to see again, Never to be /MY/ Bestie anymore, But i guess that's what I get, For trusting someone, Who backstabbed, Cheated, And lied, So i guess i'm alone again, Fending for myself, But then i guess nothing goes unpunished, So you'll get what's coming to you, And i'll be the one turning a blind eye, I guess, I was just never meant to have anyone, Especially not someone, Who was as good to me, As you were, But you betrayed me, You betrayed my trust, But i don't hate you for it, I really can't hate you, You were the person who helped me through everything, And was there for me when no one else was, So for that i thank you, And i say, Goodbye.
