Sworn to telling empty lies, Made to fear while a part of me dies. Told to be a better person, Watching my decease slowly worsen. Bringer of joy I am not, I deserved everything that I got, Bullied and beaten for a laugh, No-one had witnessed my full wrath, I kept going in this Hell, On the past I still dwell, Thinking how I could change, My life for another’s I would exchange, Am I heartless or just dark, I have nothing to make my mark, There is one who liked me so, I’d never thought she’d stoop so low, She is an angel in my view, She gave me strength to pull through, Her name is Rachel and I love her, Although our opinions may differ, She is my light through the cloud, She never fitted in with the bigger crowd, Just like me she longed for another, I would be that one who’d love her, I love her more than words can say, I say she’s beautiful every day, She is an angel and I’m no saint. When together we have no complaints, Go to her now in the pouring rain, Love me now to make me real again.
