I want a lip ring and I hint that to my mom and she says I won't get a job or a life and I will be shunned. I don't give a f*** what people think its my life and I can do what I want with it. I show her how I like my makeup and she says it's to dark or to overdone. She hates and I mean hates hot topic and Spencer's (I'm not a huge fan of Spencer's but I like there necklaces) I love hot topic and I go there for almost all my clothes. But she doesn't like them and gives me her old clothes and expects me to were them to school, most of the time I just change befor and after school. She won't let me get a hair cut even thow it's basically just a shorter version of my hair now but with more layers. She said that I look like a druggy and it's disrespectful to have hair over your eyes Sorry just had to vent. OH! I have more sorry At school people talk bad about other people just to feel good about the selfs and now there starting to make fun of Emos and bis. It just gets on my nerves so much I want to punch them but I know ill get suspended or sum thing. That's it if u have sugestions plz help me thx

Ok, to start off with, Lip Ring=So sexy <3 haha But pretty much what Matt said..Be yourself, even if you have to take those few irritating moments to shut your mother up, or someone else up. Before you know it they will be but a speck in your life if you choose so.

I have the EXACT same problem. I really want a lip ring but my mom won't let me, and one time I had hair covering my eyes completely. She ragged on me for a long time and made fun of my eyeliner. I was actually weak enough to let her control what I did, so I don't have a lip ring and cut my hair super short and kind of covers one of my eyes. As for my eyeliner, i managed to keep it. I then became very depressed, since it added to all my other problems that I had (a lot). As for my suggestion, I say don't listen to what she says and be yourself. They do know best at times, but if it's small things like a piercing, then it's fine. So just do what you want as long as it is legal, makes you happy, and doesn't hurt anyone :)

Sis ik what u mean(since we go to the same school xD) but if u ever do decide to beat the shit out of them i will always be their by your side and like i said that 1 night that got ur phone tooken away Fuck your mom if she can't except u for who u are, and that's how i see things. Love me or hate either way I am me take it or leave it.
