My parents believe I hate valentine's day b/c I have no lover. 1. I don't give a flying fadoodle if I have a boyfriend! 2. I actually hate it b/c it has no religious purpose, therefore tis just a promotional holiday. 3. I would like a boyfriend to get me flowers and chocolates, mother and thy father that would be your purpose XD! 4. Leave your comments with a couple or just one reason you hate V-Day!

hm i can't really say that i hate v-day xD since i am old fashioned at heart lol then i think its cute C: but u shouldnt go over the top with expensive stuff just because that it is v-day , give the one u love reason to love u with small things each day C: " its the small things in life that makes it more beautiful" x

Yeah, it's an ok holiday. But it truly is just a marketing thing. Hundreds of people just buy gifts for others, which helps the seller's sales. Of course it is nice to get presents for your loved ones or friends, which is why it is one of the most high selling days. I don't really celebrate it either... there's nothing to really celebrate. It's basically an excuse to buy people gifts. You don't even get the day off... so it's obviously not even a true holiday.

Hmmm Well I hate valentines day because I haven't gotten a prince (or princess) charming yet :/ Honestly, when I haven't been single the guy has always got some card from the store and some run of the mill teddy bear or chocolate- I'd much rather someone write a poem or list why they love me, ect ect ya know something individual, thoughtful, personal and completely unique- Which funnily enough costs not a single penny. Either that or they just don't see me on Vday- or I get dumped before. And this year, I get to spend the day with someone who will sit on his ass watching tv while I cook XD yippee for me!

^ i second what lovelikecyanide just wrote :D and well i am single yet another v-day xD pathetic >.> anyway my day has been good so far depsite the luck of getting a guy in my bed ahhaahha :L ... i do have some admirers ;P but i aint interested in any of them (at least not here in Sweden)(got some money and will go to the cinema later and watch a movie and prolly eat out too :D) x

I dont hate it, but i agree that it's pointless...i'm not religious..it just kinda depresses me that i never have a valentine, but whatever. I can't honestly say i hate valentines day or i dont celebrate it. Cause honestly i love that mushy romantic stuff, but i never get a chance.For me...it is now Violentines day..thanks to botdf...speaking of wich, i'm getting their new album today. CANT WAIT
