Dark Into Light ~ In Loving Memory Apr 07 2012, 08:35 PM

I wrote this from the memory of having someone who I really loved saving me from the dark times I was going through. Thanks to everyone who has helped me through dark times, I love you guys :3 Dark Into Light For so long Clouds have hung, Overcastted the days and nights Nothing but cold breezes have kissed my skin Nothing but the blackness for my company Nothing but the blackness to blind me For so long The voices of the night were all that whispered Taunting me Laughing at me Smothering me in their hate My skin paled with the lack of love My eyes drained of the spark from spirit All changed All turned When an Angel saved me from Sin From the blackness that shrouded my life The clouds were lifted Replaced by warm atmosphere The blackness, Beaten away by warm sunrays Warm sunrays that gave me my eyesight The breeze was replaced by summer air And the voices by the twitter of the lark To fill me with cheer With hope With faith And with desire My skin became kissed by sun and love My eyes lit up with spirit Dark turned into light And all due to my Angel who saved me from sin Who taught me how to live again
