A Dark Silent Hall - Fiction, second installment ^_^ May 08 2012, 10:23 AM
My nails scrape the floor and stain vermillion. Fingertips drip with the essence of life and passion and loss. This is not right! Confusion streaks its way down my face in the form of bittersweet tears and my vision is obscured. NO! I need my sight! I cannot be stranded in this place lying oblivious to all that's around me, waiting for fate to take over and bring about my demise! I wipe the tears away, smearing the furious crimson across my flesh. It burns! Oh how it burns! Burns with sin, with terror, with guilt... But it's not my fault! Is it? I don't know what's happening anymore! All that I saw before me and believed in melts like a candle of hope in hell into malevolent darkness and its cutthroat claws tear futher and further into my sanity. Piercing my beliefs and morals and making me watch and laugh, oh how I laugh, as all that I loved bleeds out of my heart before my very eyes. My tears of joyful insanity fall around me like vicious rain as my life shatters and breaks. How fitting that now I join all the souls of those that fell before me in this dark, silent, empty hall, with walls drenched in pointalism pictures of broken smiles...
