I'm sure that at least a few people here self-harm.. I don't support it, but I will admit that I do it myself, but I don't want advice on stopping, I would just like a few other opinions.. Thoughts?..

I'm not afraid to admit that I do it, but I'm trying to stop, only because 1. I don't like people seeing my scars and summer's coming up so they'll be on show, and 2. I hate seeing how heartbroken my boyfriend is when he sees a new scar on me :(

i use to self-harm for a good 2 years yet going counciling and that fac that i couldnt cut during the time i was there made me stop cutting and realise that you really do not need to cut whenever your feeling low/depressed or whatever theres many other ways to help you which are better. all cutting does is make you think of the pain of the cuts instead of anything for about 10-15 mins or a day or 2 then your just left with scaring for a good while... ive still got my scaring now and the last time i cut with last year and i never did cut deep. its really not worth it in my opinion
