Ex's moving on/getting married! Jun 10 2012, 11:49 AM

Just found out my ex [ben] is getting married to his current gf [charlotte] next year - pretty sure they only been together a year or so but I dunno i feel weird about it like i dunno, has he forgotten me idk maybe i should move on and forget him just needed to get this out anyone else been in this situation? how did you feel and what did you do?? xoxo

I've never been in this situation, but I would say the best thing is to move on. If you stick around too much, you could get a bad rep, and besides, there are lots of other hot boys around ;)

Yes an ex has got married and recently had a kid. People move on and you drift apart though. That's life... We don't really talk now, but are both happy. Tough question though I guess because it depends how close you actually were and how long you went out as to how much something like this affects you...

i agree with the other answers....its better to move on :) you have so many new things ahead of you and more things to experience in this world....I have this quote that helps me get through situations like these it goes like this: "Giving someone all your love is never an assurance that they'll love you back...don't expect love in return; just wait for it to grow in their heart but if it doesn't, be content it grew in yours." :)

It sucks if you don't have anyone or haven't had anyone since. In response to the question is he thinking of you, its highly unlikely. But hopefully you'll get someone better who sticks with you.
