Hey guys I have to move next month to Arizona...this is an okay thing for me because I used to live there up till 2 years ago so i know people there and anything but i have very mixed feelings. it will suck leaving my friends behind here but that's just part of life...the thing i am concerned about the most is moving back, going to the same high school all of my old friends are at, and them not caring about me anymore. You see I haven't talked to any of them except for a few in 2 years and a lot has changed since then will they still like me? I'm a completely different person now of course but I have overcome a lot since moving including getting over an eating disorder. The last time my old friends saw me was in eighth grade I weighed 88 pounds. i'm sure they'll be happy to see me over that but i worry that they may not remember me and i'll have to start over with everyone. Anybody have any advice for me?

I can't give you advice from personal experience, only from the experience of people I know, as the last time I moved was when I was 10 months old xD You might be a different person now, but don't worry about that. Everyone changes in some way or another, and you'll probably find that the people you knew from Arizona have changed too. If they do remember you, they'll be happy to see how much your health has improved, and it's likely that your friendships will quickly start up again (I've seen this happen at my old high school when people moved away and then moved back a couple of years later.) If they don't remember you, then you have a fresh start! You may even find that you make new friends who you'd never have thought of meeting up with before :) Of course it's going to be difficult, but I'm sure you'll be fine :)
