Time heals all wounds they say But the self inflicted won't just fade away And in these shifting tides of blame why are you suprised to see your name? By Design, by Rites of Spring

scene clothes really necessary?O_O Jul 15 2012, 02:40 AM
O.k. so i am scene, i have the hair (not in my profile pic tho OwO) and i wear the "style clothes" and i listen to the music. I love being scene but not all the time. for 1.i hate hair spray so most of the time i let my hair be itself (like my profile pic ^w^) and sometimes i dont like the clothes either (my mom is mostly to blame for that) so i still love the music but heres the thing: i'll take a break from scene style for one day and go hang out with scene kids and i still call myself scene but im called a poser and crap by other scene kids and its so fucking stupid because i dont think the exact clothing is necessary. so ima ask a question: is it necessary? should i not go out without the crap on?

Just wear what you like, don't think about what others will think about you. :)

I love scene style, but this is what I hate about scene culture, that it's so easy to get called a "poser" if you don't dress or act quite right. So dress however you like! Because anyone who makes you feel worthless because of how you dress is not worth knowing anyway!

Doing sth to fit the group and be called a proper way is stupid. You are a creator- a god of your own world. Everything you do should be just true.. I think these guys you call "scene group" are much more like poseurs if they care so much about "looking scene" everyday.

don't try too hard to 'fit' into a scene you can still be who you want ot be and not be a walking sterotype (i guess i could put it that waay) where you have ot have hairspray and have to wear colourful clothing etc.
