A Poem To Share. c: Jul 16 2012, 10:45 PM

I was an official member of the spoken Outwords Poetry club. I thought I would share some of my poetry with you all, just little things in descriptive writing that I keep safe in my document folders. You can critique or give a response to it if you'd like. :] Just want to become a stronger writer. Here's One: It's Called Lonesome Fighting back tears is one of the toughest challenges I've faced along my timeline of life. Taking deep breaths, I take a step back and close my eyes as I feel them swell up. Those pathetic, easy tears of mine are beginning to come. From a slight pull of a sensitive string in the depths of my chest. I didn't know a TTYL could make me crush so dishearteningly. I can't bare to keep away, I can't stand to watch him go away. Because that pitch of loneliness is there, and I have trouble not minding it. It's like a constant painkiller usage. Needing it, more and more, each day. I can't breathe, just give me one moment to say what all I wanted to say. I miss him. If it's hours or even a whole day, just waiting feels like the second toughest thing. Time ticking, backwards, seconds stalling... What have I done? Clinging to him as if he's my oxygen and life span, I've yearn to need him so much. Is that all so wrong? That my love for him is becoming more of an addiction. And if I must, can I sleep tonight? And let these feelings go at ease, instead of feeling myself bawl, my whole hearted feelings crumbling down into percussion dark beats. I can see myself pulsing in the palm of his hand, he's got me wrapped inside of his tight fist. All of my emotions, and feelings kept clamped in the creases of his palm. I weep from my deepest soul tonight.
