Dealing with negative people... Aug 06 2012, 12:28 AM

So...Lately I've noticed I've been more upset around some people that I'm really close to. They can be really fun, but seem to be VERY upset lately and when they complain, it kills me inside and makes me want to cut...I dont know how to handle it. I cant ignore them because their all close and important to me, and i do care, but i never get to be happy really. The second i message them, i get about the stuff bothering them. And even if they dont say it the way they talk ("...") gives it away and it gets brought up. If this was one friend, i could handle it, but its a total of about 4 people atleast... How do I deal with it? I cant blow them off, but if try to change the subject away from their situation\complaining, they'll be like "You dont even care...bye..." and then be upset with me... ._. Help...?

Being empathic sucks sometimes. But you should know that you won't help them with cutting. It would upset them even more. Sometimes there's nothing you can do. But the fact you are there for them is important. And let them feel it. Avenged Sevenfold - "Welcome to the family" - good song ^-*

It may be just finding someone that cheers you up and it could just be a faze of being upset i've had them many on times. If they were you friends, yes i understand why they may be annoied but they're your friends it'll probably take more then you being sad to lose them just try and not moan and thin kabout it too much when with them as even i fidn that people who moan aobut being sad etc. start to annoy me alot XD
