The serenity of your sleeping form deepens with each rise and fall, The demons of cruel nightmares, The angels of sweet fantasies, Beckon you to heed their call, And far into your dreams you drift, I kiss you and let go, And what befalls your resting mind I guess I'll never know, And as you follow dreamland paths I'll lie here in the night, Never edging much too far, I'll always be in sight, For if from terror you did awaken, Fearful, startled, scared or shaken, I'd wrap you up and keep you safe, To ease away the fright, But rest for now my perfect angel, I bid you sweet goodnight. <3
