Well, lately my step dad has been asking all these awkward questions about my orientation (he doesn't know I'm bisexual) and I'm not sure if I should just get it over with and tell him or wait until I've moved out. I guess I'm asking you guys what you think haha...

Well the first question is: do you know how he will react? If you know it will be negatively, wait. If not, I'd say that if he's asking he probably has an idea already. Maybe he just wants you to say it.

normaly I would say follow your heart, but u have to be careful with this one, like blackskull said, what would the reprocussions be if u told him, cause u still have to live with him, wat would it do to you if he didnt except it?? if you think he would be OK then tell him but if not ide just leave it!

i know this is probably very patronizing. but i peeked at your profile and your only 15... and i mean that in the sense that your young and you maybe haven't fully discovered who you are yet... because that takes time!!! sometimes its best not to say anything unless you have to because they may over react and you may have to deal with such repercussions.

It's not that patronising. I know people would think that I'm a little young but I know enough about myself to know my orientation.

As a bisexual who has come out to her mother, I would say there's no real need to come out. In the end, you love who you love, and they only really need to know should you find yourself falling for a girl. I have ended up falling for a man, and wish I hadn't said anything because it was stress for nothing. Personally, I think the only time that your sexuality matters is when you're looking for a relationship, and even then, the only people it should matter to are your potential partners. Having said this, if your dad explicitly asks you what your sexuality is, be honest with him. There's a different between not talking about something and straight out lying.

Yeah, I agree with the above. Unless you fall in love with some sort of lady/female creature, you shouldn't have to say unless he explicitly asks you your preferences.
