So, I was discussing stereotypes with somebody online, and they believe that emo is nothing more than an insulting term created by haters, they don't believe its a genre of music or a sub culture.. so i'm just wondering what you all think emo is? what is it to you?

i think it is more than a type of music, insult, or type of clothing its a way of life and not somthing you can just fake being. its the good feeling you cant resist when you here a hardcore band playing or the conifidance you feel in a pair of skinnys or your favorite band-t. its the way you see your self and the world around you and its not somthing you can just change or diside to feel it just comes to you natraly.

An easier way to describe how I look, or how I live my life to curious minds, and by curious minds I mean idiots who are to ignorant to just shut the fuck up and listen like a normal human being. Haven't been bothered or asked anything like that in awhile, haven't been bullied in awhile either. Guess bullies really do get bored.
