hey i have met this person online okay? he said he is 19 and he sent me a pic of (who i now know was his cousin) a guy who looked 19. then today he sends me a pic of him, i think, and he looks totally older than 19 and these pics look like they were taken by either a really crap camera or a really good 90's camera. can anyone give me any advise? because we only talk as friends and so i didn't put this in the relationship forum. he is really nice but now i'm wondering if its all just an act. please help guys! i value anyone's opinion on this matter. i don't want to have to continue anything that's gonna put me in some kind of danger. please, please, please help me guys!

Is he on this site? If so PM me his username. If not try ask to see him on webcam or hold up a picture with your name on.

as said try and get him on webcam but even then he could easily fake cam... i don't think you can fully trust anyone online till you meet them in person. Maybe if you deicide to meet them don't be alone. Have 1/2+ with you when you first meet up or even have your parents when you. When i met someone from the internet my mum was with me to be safe. :)

speaking as someone older, please dont take anyone for face value on the internet. If someone is prepared to try and scam you even a little bit then they are really suspect. There are ok people out there but there are some evil ones as well. good luck
