The clock stopped ticking forever ago, how long have I been up? Idk. I can't get a grip, but I can't let go. There wasn't anything to hold on to though! ECHO, by Crusher-P and GUMI English

The best things in life come unexpected. When i met my boyfriend i didn't expect anything i have now and we've been together nearly 2 and a half years. We live together and act more like best friends rather than lovers but i prefer it that way. I just gave up in the end and let things happen when they happen and it's one of the best things i ever did, looking for someone definitely isn't the way to go, let things come to you. Plus, it's a lot easier that way.

On the topic of finding someone when its least expected: Yeah. My best friend, who happened to be gay, suddenly tells me over a text that he liked me, somehow made him feel more bi, and if I wanted to go out with him. 'Course, I had always fancied him but learned to accept that he wasn't into lady parts. So I was just like "Whaaa? Oh, why YES of course!" So. Yeah. It can come from a COMPLETELY unexpected place or person.

I know wats its like to be alone, and even though ive pretty much given up on love(Ive had TOOO many bad experiences with it) I do believe that their is someone for everyone :) so chin up, ull meet the perfect guy one day :) and i will probably happen when you least expect it :) in the mean time just enjoy life and talk to lots of people, keep your options open and you never know one day one of those friends might end up being a boyfirend :)

I understand how you feel. From my experiences though, long distance relationships don't work. So please don't try one. You'll just get hurt... Good luck.

I know how you feel. I met someone a long time ago on here and travelled 183 miles to be with her, I took her to a hotel, bought her everything she wanted and after I had to come home to study she lost our baby and left me... I'm still struggling to deal with it... After her I met a girl through a friend and we just hit it off, after two months she moved in and Ii got her into college, helped her grow her confidence and gain some amazing friends. At the time I worked in the college and everything was amazing, after a year my contract was up so I tried door to door sales before being forced onto JSA, still bought her so much and gave her love, then I got an apprenticeship with BA... She left in September without a word and just sent her sister to pick her things up... In short my hearts destroyed but I hate the loneliness and have dreamed of a family for so long. I've planned two weddings now, been engaged once and due to claiming JSA was technically in a common law marriage. If there's anyone near me I'f love to meet you and if your far away just PM me an we can exchange number so we at least have a text buddy (: Also I agree that long distance will not work so be careful guys an gals, I don't want any part of my story to be yours. Learn from my mistakes! Please (:

I have had my fair share of relationships and wouldn't say long distance relationships don't work* Any relationship if you aren't both 100% into it can fail. *I mean 3/4hrs max distance where you get to meet at least once a month. If you are a lot further and rarely spend time together then yes it's more likely it'll fail.

It's down to experience I guess Matt, my last girlfriend was about 2-3 hours away but before that was about 183 miles so... 2-3 hours is close.

I understand.. a while ago i had a boyfriend.. he ment everything to me.. we spent countless hours with eachother, talking about all sorts of things We where like best friends.. but we shared more love than that.. until one day.. on our 1 year aniversery he dumped me because i wasn't 'good enough' anymore. Now.. I'm looking for someone.. Someone better and who'll make me feel good about myself.. and make me happy. -sigh- but i wish you luck!! i know you'll find that person!

ok. Is there a place on this site for one who does not fit the demographic: young, beautiful and cool and his thoughts and feelings? It took until turned 40 before I met `the one` although i had known of her since i was 16. She was my sister's best friend at school. Hey, these things happen; maybe not to everyone, but it does happen. Ok she may not be the prettiest but she has a huge heart and loves and accepts me for who i am, and i love her for it. Peaple can be beautiful, be it physical or spiritual. You have to decide which is more important. If you're really lucky you will find both. Don't sweat it if you don't. Just do what's best for you. Remember you are worth a lot and have have the wisdom and strength to understand and deal with things when they go wrong. There's so much i could say but i won't bore you. Huggz

You're young and beautiful. I'm sure that there's someone out there for you, maybe closer than you think (perhaps even "the friendzone"?) If I were you, I wouldn't worry about a thing. :)
