Heyhey, I really want a tattoo buttt.. my parents don't want me to take one.. I know I am 18y and just CAN do it without their permission, but that would be a sick trick.. So, any advice you guys can give me on how to convince them? Thankssx

LOL Difficult challenge! i guess you should tell them ythat having a tatoo represents you and it is you! you have to make them believe that the tatoo is really important to you. tell them that you like to be different and that you like beeing extreme and repeat them that it cant change! if you want more help message me!

I already told them I really like it and that I want it because it's different and beautiful. Also that I see it as a sort of art. They said that it stays my whole life and that I have to be sure and that stuff.. But I'll just start over and over about it ;p And find something I want, then show it to them ^^ Thanks anyway, gonna use the thing that I want to be extreme etc, hadn't thought about that ^^

well just tell them that it's your choice at the end of the day. i done it with my parents about my lip piercings. your 18 don't worry if you parents don't want you to get one, even if you do they'll always love you :)

If you do get a tatoo get something that means to you im getting the the Army sing with my grampys name in it soon (Hopefully) And i agree with Fifi

Thanks for all the answers :3 Yea it will be something meaningfull to me; I have Crohn's disease and thats an inflammatory bowel disease. I'm thinking about taking a Phoenix-tattoo ( the bird of the sun and flames ). The flames will stand for the inflammatory periods, which will burn me to ashes, but, as the disease can't stop me the ashes will bring me back to life again even stronger than before (Actually the phoenix life but then a little modified to my own story) And I know my parents will eventually love me, it's just the principe I think ..
