My first rock concert xD any advice? Nov 28 2012, 03:19 PM
Hey, so I'm going to a rock/screamo concert in Kettering, Ohio called The Attic on Dec. 29th, I'm going to ask my friend to go with me :3 What should we wear? Some bands that will be at the concert are Beth Current and Attack Attack, don't know much about these bands but it sounds cool So, yah, any advice?

ok first you would ware somthing light its going to get really hot in there cant go wrong with a short sleve t and some pants. and ware shose that WILL NOT easily come off your feet! no flip flops and somthing comfertable. more tips! -bring money for cool stuff! -in less u are a 200lb 6 foot tall man or very experanced stay out of the pit! u could get really hurt i have experanced and see in all trust me -stay out of the middle; in less u want to get stick in a crazy hot ass pushing crowd i would avoid that. -shoot for the out sides; this way u can get close take cool pics and have room to breath! -always no your way out if shit goes down and things get crazy always be in a place u can easily break free of the madness -bring a bag like a back back or drawstrig it makes it easier to move about and less of a chance of it getting takin. -some places might not let u do this but bring a water bottle if u can it will get really hot and stuffy and u will get really thursty make sure u dont opean it before u get in or they will take it. -MOST IMPORTANT! have fun conserts are the best thing ever! just injoy your self no your limits and let lose im sure u will have a blast!

Yes it gets very hot in gigs so don't wear too much!

All that ^^ and shed some blood n get wild, if you want to go into the pits, be ready for alot of pain (all the pits i've been in i've had something broken or been bloodyed up), N drink loadds if you can water is normaly free, so make use of that, n remember to have as much fun as possible <3

just dress how you want lol no ones really going to notice much as everyone's there for the music more then anything

The attic and Ohio in general is a great place to be! Trust me, It's gonna be a good time :) If you want to mosh (which is really fun, btw!), go closer to the middle or middle-front of the venue. If you don't want to mosh, stick closer to the sides and edges of the place. As far as attire goes, where whatever you want, it's about the music! And bring some cash. CD's can be really cheap at shows (Shirts might be a little more expensive though). Hope you have a good time! PS: Attack Attack is one of my fave bands! I think the best advice that I've got is not to wear too much. I mean, of course, wear clothes and stuff haha but not that thick. You'll find it difficult to breathe once the crowd around you started rocking. I've experienced that when I watched Evanescence, though the crowd aren't that wild and stuff, it's difficult since I wore a jacket on top of a not-so-comfortable band shirt so yep. Anyway, enjoy the concert! But I believe you have to expect the crowd to be wild and stuff xD
