No Fairytale Ending For Me....? Jan 02 2013, 03:37 AM
My name is Katie and I have been in a few relationships in my life but none ever last for more than 1 year! I used to be focused on guys only (and I still am attracted to them) but have since become bicurious. I just really want my fairytale...my happily ever after, as they ride horses into the sunset. I've never even been kissed! I seem to repel boys my own age and I don't know how to even approach a girl. My friends and family judge me so much about being emo that telling them I'm even attracted to girls will result in chaos... Idk what I'm looking for here...my fairytale...? Or maybe just some advice.

I'm not trying to be harsh; far from it, it's just that maybe you should stop looking for your prince or princess and fairytales and start looking for a person that really gets you. Relationships are not sunshine and roses. Yeah, when you get the right person, it'll probably feel that way; but it my experience, only after the initial awkward stage. Here's some friendly advice from someone who has been in this situation: Stop and breathe. The right person will come along one day, and its up to you to realize it and take a chance. Maybe it's not time for you to have that special someone yet. As for the whole bicurious thing, perhaps it is only because you feel boys aren't seeing you, so you figure girls might. I'm not doubting your attraction or anything, I'm just saying to wait it out on telling people until you're absolutely sure about your preferences.

yeah agreed... relationships are not sunhine and happiness all the time... it does require work and dedication. I think you should just stop looking so much he/she will come to you just need to be patient... a relationship isn't going to provide all the happiness in the world so just go out and enjoy the world in the small period of time you have... it will come to you eventually :)

your description reminds me of me...wanting that perfect fairytale ending :) It seems hard to find especially in this society but i can say that do not give up all hope. I remember when i gave up years ago and just now i have finally found it. I guess you have to stop finding it and then it will eventually find you. Sooo cliche i know lol but it happened to me and i know it can happen for you as well.

ur too young to think of such things like this. there are lots of things to enjoy ur life rather than searching for ur prince/fairytale. stop looking for someone, they'll exist i swear to u. ur fairytale is u.
