What do you all think about the news around horse meat in tesco burgers? It seems to be all over the news today. http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2013/jan/15/horse-dna-found-supermarket-beefburgers

Maybe its just cuz I don't eat meat, but I don't see what all the fuss is about. If you're eating a burger, you know its just mushed up animal, does it matter what animal it is? :/

glad i'm veggie but what do you expect in cheap food ?? fine quality food .no chance. so i cant see what the fuss is about they eat horse etc in other parts of Europe .. just read the label before you buy and if you want quality buy quality !

Cheap produce is made from a mix of animals, we all know that. Sausages are only something like 30% or less meat from the supermarkets... I don't understand the fuss although there are a few people I would like to turn into burgers and feed to others.

I guess it was just a bit funny that's all. The media have to write about something to fill their papers and websites and sometimes is pretty pointless..

Me and my friend keep a database of people to do things like that to Kate aha xD You're right Matt, I hate the media after all they covered the demo in 2010 non stop because of Millbank but when everything is peaceful in 2012 it's hardly in the media. They disgust me.

People are meant to taste like pork so does horse have a distinctive taste or does it taste like another food? I think crab claws taste like chicken.

peronally i have eat a dam site of horse in the past anyway and it can be quite healthy for you so we have all been very lucky...chris meat tates like meat to me xx
