Alternative feature walls. Jan 25 2013, 07:36 PM
Well, this section of the forum seems the best for this topic. Basically I'm re-designing and completely altering my room now that it is completely my own space. And one of the things I want is a feature wall but in an alternative style, so in a sense, matching the many sub cultures that the alternative culture has within itself. Something Emo / Scene and what not. But the problem is I haven't a clue where I would find a place that does these types of things. There must be somewhere there that does but I haven't a clue. Does anyone know? :)

Hiya if you look on the net under companies that do vinyl stickers for walls, I thik they call them decals. Some of these will turn your deign into wallpaper or anything really and they are not that expensive. Hope it comes good

stickers are a great thing to use... have you tried cuttings of articles/pictures of your favorite bands from magazines ?

If you need furniture I would recommend going to a thrift store and finding something you like then doing a custom paint job. :] I just want my room to reflect me, and I'm obsessed with stars and space, so I'm painting myself a dresser and night stand with a galaxy on them. ^_^ Seems like a great way to really personalize your space.

paint it white and hand draw grffiti as you go then paint!! zxx
