Has this sort of gone out of fashion a bit now within the emo scene or do you still paint your nails black a lot?

no i dont think it's completly gone from the scene as i still see quite a few guy and girls with them painted personaly i still do but most of the time it depends on what im wearing to what colour i paint them but black goses with most and adds a diffrent feel to a outfit

I only paint my nails black occasionally, cuz I like to experiment with my nails so I use pretty much every colour :L I have painted my boyfriend's nails black before though, for a goth night... that was interesting :L

if i have enough time to do it but the nail polish cracks n chips like right after youre finished painting em >.<

Yeah, mine are always painted black. I don't think black nail polish has gone out of fashion entirely. I still do see some "alternative" people with black nail polish.

if im dressing emo and for a shoot once I had grime nails professionally done!! layer of red varnish...remove slightly layer of black varnish...remove slightly finish with transparent glitter varnish....hmmm great nails!! emo is sooooooooooo changing these days!! xx

Yeah, so I'll do a pattern like black then silver, or black purple...there's always some black in there XD

I'm a nail artist and I do my nails a variety of colors but black is always a fav of mine, sometimes I'll just paint some black on sometimes I'll put on acrylics and file them and paint them black so they're long and classy, I like to file my acrylics to points then paint them black it's really neat :)

i don't know about anyone else but i always paint my nails black. i wasn't aware it had gone out of fashion.
