SCHOOL DANCE >///< advice? Mar 02 2013, 04:48 PM
so there's this Neon themed dance at my school and my gf asked me to go with her, of course I said yah. i don't own a lot of neon stuff except a neon blue tank top and neonish purpe skull skirt so im gonna wear that with a long sleeve button up thingy over it. anyways, i'm not sure how to act at a dance..i've never really had a date to one (besides this one time but that guy pretty much left me for some whore so whatevs :p) ..what if she askes me to dance? should i ask her? honestly i gont even know how to dance so..it's a 7th and 8th grade only thing (and im in 7th) so kinda scared.plus my date just happens to be the prettiest kindest most perfect soul on earth. and im extremely shy. any advice, please????

just be your self and dont be afriad to have fun those school dance things are sooo stupid any way and they play horrible music. just do you and dont worry about what every one else is dong or acting just be your self and make your date feel specail and you should be fine.

First off, definitly ask HER to dance, dont wait for her to ask you. Second, they usually just play pop music and stuff so you don't really have to know how to dance. Just move with the music (trust me, this is coming from someone who's been to a LOT of dances.) Otherwise, don't fret it- it'll probably be alot of fun. Just be you and enjoy the good time ^.^

well you don't have to dance to every song and i you do fuck it no ones really going to pay that much attention and most songs are just boogie yourself off anyway :) Just got to keep calm and enjoy yourself :)

Ugh, school dances.. I'm in 7th grade and I'm a class president so I have to organize all that cheese.. What you must do is be yourself and don't give a crap about anyone else, just have a good time with your gf and probably joke around. Stand out for most of the people there, instead of using neon, go dressed in black so they cannot see you, or just do whatever you want there. :P

i've the same problem for my school dance ... best bit of advice i can give : just be yourself ,enjoy it and don't worry what the others think =]

Oh, in my eyes I can do nothing, but say I have no self-confidence and if I ask somebody will say stupid crap about me, then punch me, or kick me.
