I'm debating whether or not to get a pair of those checkered slip on vans. I like the black and white ones and the black and red ones. Which ones do you like better?

With Vans, I would say definitely try them on first rather than buying them off the internet. Some people (including myself) have quite a high instep, and Vans are too shallow for people with high insteps :( but if they do fit you, omg I couldn't say whether to get white and black or red and black, both combos look awesome :)

Go for any as you like, I personally prefer the black and red ones as they're not as common :)

Black and red. The white might be hard to keep clean. And yeah, you'll definitely want to try a pair on. My problem wasn't their flatness 'cause I have really flat feet, but I found that they run about a half a size too big. Another thing I want to mention is that they tend to wear out really quickly. I wore them everyday doing all sorts of things like skating, walking in the woods, ect. so that's probably why they fell apart so quickly. I recommend not being too rough with them.
