My Love poem May 31 2013, 11:45 AM

I wish to leave these trails Of kisses across the nape of your neck, And to let them lead to certainty instead of lust, And hopefully, just hopefully, You see the message of the space between your fingers replaced with the fingers of my own. And your hand pressed to my chest to feel my singing heart beats, The pulses of a broken up heart, pumping, gradually, and constantly, fixing, getting stronger and stronger. The pain is gone, and you can feel it, right against the flesh of your palm, And the truth is hidden in my heart. And we both can finally breathe. By our heart's content, we know out of all the world, there will be a couple that will sleep comfortably tonight. Let us dream on, with our shoulders laid on, and whispers of the soft words, "I love you," against our sensitive ears. And we can smile, without a grief or doubt behind it. Feel these pulses, and look into my eyes as you hear these love sounds. Like a rhythm, my eyes are as true to my heart. For once, I can sleep well. You and I both.
