So last night my mom called me, and she sounded like crap. Turns out the doctors put her on a muscle relaxer to help her with some EXTREME cramps that she always has in her legs. But we were talking and she told me that she's been losing a lot of weight (like ten pounds just in one week) and losing a lot of hair. Last night around 8 she had a seizure and was taken to the hospital (it was caused by the muscle relaxers). Today she found out that there is fluid on her brain and she was transferred to a different hospital with better equipment. Does anyone know what this could be? I'm pretty scared about it because a girl I know's dad has brain cancer, and it started out by seizures. Also I feel really bad because I don't live with my mom so I feel like I should move back in with her, but I'm being pressured to stay with my dad and finish school at the high school I'm at.

Always be preapared for anything... That's how I deal with shit... I wont say that she has or hasn't got cancer just to make u feel better, but u have to realize that, panicking will lead u nowhere... If I were u, I whould spend a lot of time with her, if possible...u never know what might happend :/ I lost my grandpa, few yrs ago... I regret for not spending much time with him... he loved me with all his heart...almost too much... and then, he died from an heartattack...he was perfectly healthy...the doctors said that, even if he was on the operation table at the time, he couldn't be saved...that's how sevear the heartattack was... It happend so suddenly... I hope u figured out smthn from here... :/ Just, give her love and attention... I wish u all the best... :/

as said prepare for the worse and everything else for you never know what will happen. Spend time with her but don't try to dismiss collage or university if you currently go to them ..only saying for i know someone on my course who kept missing some practices or classes due to his ill dad which i know its important to spend time but it just seemed he was dismissing his education and the band. Don't think i'm saying don't see your mum if the only time you can see her that whole day is during one class or whatnot :) Hope the best :)

Thanks guys. I talk to her as much as I can, granted I don't really have time. I can't spend very much time with her though, she lives halfway across the country. My grandma asked me if I could visit as soon as possible because my mom was released from the hospital today but can't drive or work for a month. Hopefully everything goes well within her healing time though..
