How long should I wait? Jun 23 2013, 12:53 PM
Okay, so yikes. I dyed my hair or at least tried to dye it yesterday. My hair is naturally dark brown, but I wanted to go auburn. Didn't really work out to well. So i wanted to ask when is the next time I can dye my hair again. If I had to say it's in pretty good condition, and i have split ends, but i dont want to take the risk of all my hair falling out because of all the chemicals. I used Revlon Colorsilk if that helps any...

It should be okay to dye it again as soon as possible just as long as your hair is in good condition, it will be fine to go ahead. I do recommend deep conditioning after though, it will help your hair regain moisture.

^ agree, unless you're planning on bleaching it. But if you're just dyeing it, you could dye it right now and you'd be fine :)

Thanks :D I dyed it then deep conditioned it. I saw a tiny bit more hair fall out but it doesnt seem like it'll do much damage, and I have this treatment thing I use to moisturize and stuff like that to your hair and that helps. But yeah Thanks a ton, I would have just dyed it and continue to chug along :3

Yeah just keep conditioning it, you can use treatments especially for coloured hair too to help it stay longer as well as really moisturise it ;)
