Consumed in Darkness I can no longer see the light Tortured by hate I’m broken down tonight Your little mind games fester in me Depression takes over and I can no longer see Swallowed up in Thought The pain grows more And then my hot tears Splatter the floor The names you called me Build up in my mind One by one the thoughts unwind “Fat, emo, stupid-a waste of space It’s your fault, Hated, You’re just a mistake!” Devoured by Envy I wish to be you Maybe then I’ll be loved And the pain will be through You’re so perfect- Why am I such a disgrace? I can’t even look at myself Maybe they’d love me if I was fake… Mutilated by needles I cut away the pain Scratch after scratch The tears and blood rain I told him about it And made a promise to stop Only the stress was too much And grabbed the knife to cut Frozen by guilt And unsure of what to do Two friends gone And only one to turn to I tried to explain what was going on She smiled at me And said to move on Killed by lies I write this note I cry one last time And begin to choke Unable to breathe From this constricting rope I close my eyes And I hang to die Where I am forever- Consumed in Darkness
