So being the socaily awkward human i am... I find it rather hard to actually interact with new people face to face And it's somthing i need to over come if i'm going to get anywhere at my new college... But i've no idea how to Help ! Thanks :)

It helps to have the same interests as them or something to connect with. I find it hard to connect with anyone i have nothing in common with, which in a room full of 100 people, i'll have a connection with about 2! Come across as approachable and talkative, and they'll end up opening up to you. Come across as unsociable and a wallflower and they will find you awkward haha. Go to gigs or organise gatherings where you do things you all enjoy, etc etc.

Are any of your friends going to the same college? I find it much easier to talk to people if I have a friend with me :) but to be fair, if you're on the same course as someone, you'll end up HAVING to talk to them at some point, and as you have at least one interest in common with them, should get along ok with most :)

i sort have the same thing.. I don't get on with people very well. With me, I just talk to people in class when it comes to the activities and in my form. To Be Honest I'll probably end up talking to people but won't think of them as friends but who knows.

to be honest i'll probably only really talk to people in lessons and see how things go from there...
