As I stumble through the pitch black wood , I find a light . At first dim, But then turns very bright . As I gaze upon it , Walking ever closer . It starts to blind me , But I can 't stop walking over . I find a lake . So serene , peaceful, and quiet. With the moon shining down, I notice what makes the light so giant . I look in the middle of the lake , And I see him there. A gorgeous black angel. His skin naked and bare. His big black wings , So voluminous and lush, Have me staring in awe. Like a little boy crush . He 's the most gorgeous creature, I have ever seen . But I am scared . What will he think of me ? He' s an angel. And I just a boy. Will he love me ? Or just think I 'm a toy ? He then looks at me . And let' s out a scream . All the animals run away in terror . But it ' s beautiful to me . All I hear is this melody. So serene and caring . And I then know the answer to the question. In his song , it is blaring. He gives a loving look , And looks up at the sky. His face turns down. This was his goodbye . As he takes off, He lets a feather fall. I keep staring at him oblivious. I finally notice it as it falls At my feet it lands . It looks so elegant. I'm scared to pick it up . It looks so fragile yet magnificent. I take it in my hand. And I hear a sound . "Wait for me at the lake " it says . And my heart starts to pound . His voice came from the feather . The voice of that black angel . I was at a loss for words . Twas so powerful but gentle . Every night afterward. I go back to that lake. Waiting for my angel . It 's me I want him to take . One day he shall return to me . One day he said . I will wait an eternity if I have to. For him I won 't fret. He 's got me under his spell , But I don 't care . Ill wait for him here. For him I shall bare .
