I sit at the lake , Awaiting my angels return. He told me he' d come back . But though , I would never learn. I had the feather in my hand, As I did every night. It starts to glow brightly . So bright I scream in fright. " I may never return" it says . " Please forget me " What does he mean. How could this be? I loved the angel. How could I forget him ? What should I do? I can 't live without him. So hastily, I strip down bare . And plunge into the lake . Wanting to cut the ties to this world . I wanted to leave for goodness sake . I go deeper and deeper into the water. It 's touch icy and cold . And I begin to lose vision . But I feel my life hold . Something weird starts happening. I start to change. My body is getting bigger . I grow a tail of long range. I feel wings out of my back . And scales hardening my skin. I have a snakes tongue flicking out my mouth And I feel my new life begin . A beautiful bright blue water dragon. That is what I 've become . Swimming through the water with ease. It seemed this was my destined outcome. With the transformation. It wasn't just physical. I'm now more wise and all knowing. And nothing seems difficult . I then know , I am very powerful . I can defend myself, From any obstacle . And what that black angel did , Doesn' t bother me a bit . He 's dead to me now. I 'm not worried a bit. I shall now live my life as a beautiful water dragon. All powerful and majestic. I shall have no worries about my old life. I don' t have to take it . No matter what now. I' m more careful and wise I know what needs to be done . And I now finally see the world through new eyes.
