Emo Group meet Birmingham ,UK 2013 Aug 14 2013, 04:40 AM

I've been given the go ahead to organise this meet up so thanks matt =) The meet has been CANCELLED due to recent happenings in Birmingham city centre and recent trouble involving 'alts' in the park the meet was due to be held in Sorry for any problems this has caused but thankyou for all the interest in a meet =) the 28 th of September proved most popular date as such the meet will be held then I suggest we hold the meet at Birmingham Cathedral also known as Pigeon park located on Colmore Row, B3 2QB as it is just off the high street but has very good public transport links and signing. It is about a minute walk from Birmingham snow hill train station and 5 minutes from New Street station.The park has regular bus services that stop directly outside it. Please be aware public transport will be operating on a saturday service and will be worth checking for delays and times on google before you leave As for time i'd say aim to be there by 12 noon and bring something to eat/drink or you can buy something from the places around the park.No BBQ's are allowed. Pricing up travel tickets and accommodation atm :D gonna take me 6 and a half hours on the train to get there omg. Hahaha! Shall let you know soon what my plans are. ^_^

i would but i can't for travel is going to be so expensive it'll just not happen for i don't want to spend so much on travel XD need to happen closer to Colchester at some point then i might be able to show up XD :)

For those who live further away from B'ham keep your eyes peeled on www.thetrainline.com. They sometimes advertise single tickets cheaper than standard return tickets. If you have a young persons railcard (age 16-25) it could be cheaper too (but only worth it if you use the train quite often as it costs £30 per card per person per year).

Due to lack of responses as to who's coming and the recent happenings in Birmingham city centre as well as trouble in the park recently I've decided to cancel the meet up for those reasons I'm sorry for any problems this causes thanks for all the interest though =)
