Hiding in the shadows their screams still echoing Both are hoarse and ragged sobbing over and over Sharing the pain of another night sadly survived Both so similar in ways of unpleasant coping Their blood flows but neither of them knows Wrapping his arms around her, she clinging to him The long dark slashes marring the skin of his wrist Align perfectly with the ragged claw marks decorating her chest Holding each other close lost in their own ungodly hell The monsters inside fighting to escape Bellowing out their furry screaming into the night Unleashing the wrath of unholy demons Their souls trapped in the body of the beasts Shut off yet united through the small blood link Entwined spirits forever together locked and bonded Yet still they survive and live on in agony
