please dont judge me if u do go burn in hell !!! anywayss.. i have a big problem with cutting... i need some tips om how hiding cuts from people. there mainly all on my left side of my body.... help0-o dont judge or lecture me how bad cutting is cuz i already now why do u think im doing it! der! if u were in my place u would do the same........ HELP.

I would try wearing loads of bracelets and use Bio Oil so that by the time you need to wear short sleeves they have mainly faded ~ That's what I do anyway. xx

Well first thing first stop doing it and try to put your mind onto something else and to hide it, just wear bracelets or long sleeve shirts, noting that show off the body.

Well.. in my opinion I personally think you should stop because I know from experience it's not the best idea.. I know how hard it is to actually get over it.. but if you truly want advice on how to hide them then i'll give you some. It all depends on where you've done it on your left side, if you have done it on your arms/wrists try and keep them covered, like the others have said use bracelets, bio oil, long tops etc, if it is on your waist/hips make sure you have an under top for anything you decide to wear, it will give you coverage until they have healed a bit and will be less visable.. hope this will help darling (:

stay strong and i'm glad to hear you want to stop =) best techniques i find are 1. distract your mind everytime you feel the urge to cut , so draw, listen to upbeat music , go for a walk etc basically something you enjoy 2. positive reinforcement - this works by treating yourself every time you don't cut so you teach yourself that not cutting is a good thing and that you don't cutting to cope etc all you do is think of a word you like ie Chocolate then everytime you don't cut you write a letter ie C on you/over your cuts or somewhere you will see it keep writing a letter of the word for everyday you don't cut and when you spell the whole word treat yourself to something small ie a medium sized chocolate bar or a shopping trip if you cut during this you don't write a letter and it takes longer to get the reward. As you get better in further into recovery you can make the word longer or treat yourself every other week etc 3.snapping a elastic band/hair bobble against your wrist when your get the urge to cut (just be careful how hard you do it as you can bruise yourself or snap the bands which isn't good) hope this helps if you want any more help or want someone to listen to you or some to talk to about things feel free to PM me ant i'll be glad to help =)
