When you have the urge to cut what do you do? Do you cut cause your not bothered about the fact you self harm? Or do you try to keep your mind off it and how...?

I do something to distract myself. Playing on the Xbox, playing guitar/bass, drawing, even doing homework. If I really can't stop thinking about it.I draw lines on my arm using a red pen or something.

Have you tried getting out the house? Going for a walk/run or just going round a friend's house? Calling/texting someone? Sometimes cutting into a bar of soap or some ppaper to look at the damage it does puts people off doing it to themselves

Just been out for a 4 hour walk, came home tried everything I could think of. I want to stop cutting cause It's inconvenient but I don't really want to. It feels too good and I deserve it

I felt the same way when I was trying to stop for the first time. Nobody deserves to feel that way though. Have you held ice in your hands until you couldn't take it anymore? Running your hands under cold water? Taking a bath full of either hot or cold water? If you want to talk, my inbox is always open :)
