Rebelliousness? Dec 10 2013, 04:29 PM
This doesn't really have to do with emoness but IDK where else to ask about this. I am like the ONLY student that does my work. Everyone makes fun of me and never invite me to parties because they say I'll be doing "homework". :( I've had enough of it! Is there anyway to make them think I'm cool and rebellious without getting into trouble w/teachers and not make it appear to b that I'm "trying too hard". (and I go to a dumbass private school so I can't dress ANYTHING even remotely cool) -_- why life? Thank you!!!

I know it sounds like bad advice but don't change for other people. It doesn't work. I've tried it and all it got me was a bunch of fake "friends" who still bullied me and talked about me behind my back. And they still never invited me to any parties. The only way others can see you as cool is by you being yourself. The right friends will come along eventually and they'll like you for who you are not who you pretend to be around them and you'll be invited to their parties. Don't let these kids bring you down, they're just being annoying 13/14 year old kids like most kids around that age :) things will start to get better when you reach 15/16.

Technically, if you're the only one who doesn't screw around, then you ARE the rebel. Hanging out with friends is awesome, but why would you want to spend time around the kind of people who make fun of others who are different from them? If you want my advice, try finding people who can respect you for you.
