The "Emo" look consists of a few essentials Skinny Jeans- Can be found at Hot Topic, Target, Forever 21 Men, HM Men, and basically any store that carries in trend, male clothing. You can go crazy colors, black, or basic jean color. Just make sure they fit you and your legs don't look like sausages :P If skinny jeans aren't for your body, you can do a straight leg. "Skateboard" brand shoes- These are basically cool sneakers. Vans and Converse are the most common ones. You can go with basic black or white. It can also be cool if you get colorful sneakers. Additionally, if you are an artist you can get white sneakers and create your own design. You can buy them online. Studded Accessories- This is optional, but they can really add a great look. For example, adding a studded belt to any pair of jeans can add to make the look edgy. Or a studded bracelet can balance out a look. Studded belts can be bought mostly online, but they are a very common item found at thrift stores :) Studded bracelets can additionally be found online. Now for the Hair aspect of the "Emo" look. Most emo guys rock the long hair look. How you do this depends on your taste. You can go for the scene type hair (Google Boy Scene Hair), which is more out there; or the classic Emo type hair (Google emo boy). For these hairstyles, go to your hairdresser and ask them if they know what it is. You can also bring in pictures. Most likely, the hairdresser will give you a lot of layers and fringe. Both of these hairstyles require styling, so you will need a couple materials to maintain your hairstyle. Most importantly, you will need a straightener. Additionally, you will need a brush. Obviously, you will need the brush to get rid of tangles in your hair. The brush can also be used to create the classic "puffy" look. To accomplish this, just search on youtube "Doing emo guy hair". Now this part is definitely not necessary. A lot of this crowd is into piercings. This is obviously personal choice, but I thought I would just include it. I think I covered the main essentials. I will leave another response if I can remember any other things.

Emo is Emotive hardcore punk it's a type of music what evolved in to a style from the 80s and 90s from bands like Rites of spring... the style stereotypically is the black long bangs over one eye the black make up (kizz) the black band shirts (the get up kids, rites of spring, moss icon) the skinny black jeans and converses, but it keeps changing you don't need to dress Emo to be Emo but if you really want to I can suggestu a few things on what to wear: black straight cut jeans/skinny black jeans(can be blue/denim) hair: be how ever you want make up: optional piercings: optional shirts: band shirts, skater clothes, solid colors (red, blue, grey etc I don't recommend bright colors) shoes: Dr. Martins, converes or any skater shoe to be honist. But the music is the main thing check out bands like Rites of spring, Moss icon, The promise ring, the birds are the spiese that report to the bees, thoses are real emo bands (Mayday parade, Secondhand seranade and Sleeping with sirens are NOT Emo. You can also check out rock bands and metal as Emos listen to that to. Or even pick up a instrement. Be creative and don't just copy what I and others have said you need to be your own person and have fun with your new style. :)

I'd recommend something similar to above. Band t shirts, skinny jeans and Converse (not the standard coloured ones, I get the brighter ones from Blue Banana), and some cool accessories (I usually go with skulls because I love them, but it's not that important what type).
