greetings, my name is drew. i am one of the few remaining emos from the 80's. some of you may know me from another forums (which i will not name). i am here to help and give advice where i can. here is my story. when i was 5 i was kidnapped from my yard. i was raped, tied up and left in an old tree house behind their house. later my dad found me, but then he ended up leaving when i was 10. at 13, i realized i was bi, and got bullied in school. you think it's bad now? back then you couldn't even say the word 'gay' without being totally trashed. i started cutting and it lasted until i was about 16. that's when i joined my first band. i also started smoking at that time. we eventually move away to a new town and i had to start over. eventually i got married and started having kids. one died six hours after birth. soon after, 911 hit and the IT market went downhill. i lost my job, got evicted and my car repossesed. we were all homeless for a while. later, we got back into a house of our own due to an inheritance. i started building our lives again, but then, i had a stroke and lost a lot of my memory. all i have now is my childhood, most of my teens and only a little adult memory. well, one of my daughters started going through the bullying things about a year ago, and i started helping her through it. so i decided to try and help as many ppl as i can. i don't know a lot anymore except what i remember from my own experience. i am NOT a licensed professional in anyway, and i won't give you bullcrap (sry if swears arean't allowed) answers. i can not change the past, i can not take your pain away. what i can do is give you an understanding ear to talk to, and maybe show you ways to deal with your issues in a way you aren't used to, but works. i am not here to form relationships. i am only here to help. thank you for listening. to beak the ice, here's a song i wrote. that is me in the pic (+1 to anybody who can guess who's guitar i'm holding). http://soundclick.com/share.cfm?id=12219394
